Natural Healthcare Professional, Power Pieces Jewelry Creator and Artist
Caroline has been studying or creating art since her early years. In her preteen years, her mother recognized an interest and ability in Caroline for the creative and artistic ways and enrolled her in oil painting classes. In the early teen years Caroline was creating costume jewelry and had her own small business selling jewelry to relatives and friends first and later through referral.
She always had a fascination for the power of color. In her early twenties major health issues started her on the path of natural healing and the study of stained glass artwork. Caroline used the passion for the effects of color to create stained glass for shows and home. Her side business for the next fifteen was designing and creating inserts for cabinets, restoring old stained glass windows and creating stained glass art work. At this time, Caroline was a music teacher in the public school system.
All the while continuing her education and growth in the natural healing profession to assist in healing a badly damaged spine, her path took her in to the healing qualities of stones. Having used crystal placement on the body for healing work, Caroline found that jewelry was the easiest way to have their healing qualities always with her.
In her early forties, a complete change in life's direction caused Caroline to re-evaluate her chosen path and she created her own philosophy of healing - Holistic Synergy (TM). The Northeast Holistic Center (NHC) was founded, and certification courses were started along with a store for the students - the "Three Kittens Boutique."
Caroline has regularly been making, teaching about, and selling jewelry to assist in health issues as well as teaching natural healthcare options classes at colleges, major bookstores, conferences, both in the United States and abroad, and the Northeast Holistic Center.
As the NHC expanded and the boutique started to include other products - essential oils, herbs, flower essences as well as the jewelry, its name became "Earth's Rainbow Products," with "Kimber Did It" as the jewelry aspect of the boutique.
Caroline and the NHC currently work in the community with a government funded grant for HIV/AIDS, in addition to teaching, private consultations in natural healthcare and Feng Shui, and working to bring natural healthcare options with the focus on HIV/AIDS, cancer treatment and palliative care to a higher, more professional awareness among the general public. The NHC, which Caroline directs, is a non-profit 501c3 organization, and all donations received go to serving the community through natural healthcare options. |

Natural Healthcare Professional, Designer and Creator of Healing Jewelry, Artist
From early childhood, Jason-Cristofe Marcello has been fascinated by color and form, and even in those formative years, he demonstrated very definite preferences in those areas, insisting that the color and fit of his clothing be to his liking. During his preschool years, Jason often occupied his time with creating his own story books, illustrated by collages, which he designed, using pictures cut from greeting cards and magazines.
In his teen years, Jason began to explore his childhood fascination with the exotic worlds of eastern and North African cultures, along with those of North America's Native American peoples, finding himself drawn to their often striking use of color and symbolism, as well as the dramatic forms employed. In high school, Jason eagerly undertook a year of sculpture classes, creating works which expressed these interests. His college studies also included a year of sculpture classes, which included a semester of metal work. These two years would later impact his jewelry work.
His keen attraction to ancient Egypt , Tibet, and the Mezo-American cultures of the past have inspired much of his work, which frequently reflects what he calls a type of "Ethnic Fusion," also often shown in his mode of dress. Indeed, this fusion shows itself in his own heritage, as Jason's forebears include a grandfather from North Africa, a great grandmother who was Native American, and more distantly, Vikings.
Jason's fascination with other cultures and peoples has also led him to investigate their use of color, stones, both precious and ordinary, in healing, another of his life-long interests, and later to become a part of his life's work. This fascination led him to travel to other countries, in order to experience their cultures and artistry first hand.
During his twenties, Jason became involved more directly with healing, specifically as it related to the HIV/AIDS community, and it was this which led him to the Northeast Holistic Center, where he became a graduate in its first Intern class, studying various aspects of natural healthcare, including color, the use of crystals and semi-precious stones and metals, and Holistic Synergy (TM) energy work, to name a few. All these are employed in the creation of his jewelry, which spans from the exotic and sculptural to the more conventional, making each piece a one-of-a-kind work which is both pleasing to the eye, and a powerful tool to assist in the healing needs and desires of the wearer.
In addition to his work as an artist, Jason-Cristofe is the NHC's Director of International Operations, and Director of Natural Healthcare Practitioners and Educators. His work has brought him to Europe and the Caribbean, as well as the U.S. A part of the proceeds from the sale of his work will be donated to the NHC to supplement the funding it receives from donations and grants, thus furthering its healing work. |
